The colleges of the Alamo Colleges District confer Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts in Teaching, and Associate of Applied Science degrees, as well as several levels of certificates. For any degree or certificate awarded, a student must earn at least 25% of the college-level credit hours required for graduation through instruction by the college in the Alamo Colleges District granting the award.
Types of Programs:
- Degrees (Associate of Arts- AA, Associate of Science-AS, Associate of Applied Science- AAS, and Associate of Arts in Teaching- AAT)
- Certificates (Advanced Technical Skills Certificate, Enhanced Skills Certificate- ESC, Certificate Level 1 (CL1), Certificate Level 2 (CL2), and Occupational Skills Award (OSA.)
- Pre-Majors/Transfers (Major student plans to pursue at the transfer university. This is the subject area the student declares for advising purposes.)
- Continuing Education (Continuing Education Units- CEUs are provided through the Alamo Colleges District Workforce Training Network.)
